Learning Sessions:

The Learning sessions is where the dancer(s)/gymnast(s) will learn the choreography to their routine. This is done in 2 - 45 min sessions.  Students then take the choreography home to practice and perfect.  Students can record the choreography at the end of the session to practice with at home.   Practicing at home is a huge part of doing a solo/duet/trio.

15 min Check Sessions:

The dancer(s) will be required to attend 2 or 3 - 15 minute cleaning sessions (non competitive) & 1 or 2 group sessions (competitive)  to help prepare for upcoming performances and competitions. These will be held before recitals and competitions.  Extra practice times can be added with additional cost (see costs below).  These are "cleaning" sessions where they will show the instructor the routine, ask questions and fine tune the routine.  Students must know their routines for these sessions.

Costume Info:

There are a few options for costuming. 1 - you can purchase your own 2 - you can pay a costume fee & we can order one for you. Costumes range between $40 - $90 depending on the costume you pick  3 - you can use a costume from past years.

All costumes must be modest and approved through Becky/McKenzie.   1st deadline is September at your 15 min check/costume session.  2nd deadline is November 1st - costume must be purchased and here and complete.

Music:

Students can pick their own music but it must be approved through Becky/McKenzie. Students can also receive help finding music. Music will be cut/edited and be sent to you via email.  We will provide the music at all performances and competitions.

Performing the Routine at Recitals/Competitions:

All solo/duet/trio's must be approved by Becky & instructors in order to perform the routine at winter recitals & competitions.  We will pick the best polished routines to perform at recitals and any extra events that may come up. So make sure you PRACTICE :0)  This is done at your 15 min check sessions before recital and competitions.
